With 18 days left before the wedding, things are getting a little stressful. Any of you that have planned a wedding know exactly what I'm talking about. The big things (cake, dress, catering, etc.) have all been taken care of, but now all those little details are popping up. I've made a list of things that are left to do & it scares me every time I look at it:
- Wrap favors
- Make sign-in book
- Get wedding shoes
- Buy temple dress
- Get joint banking account
- MOVE to new apartment
- Begin writing thank you notes
- Finish registries
- Schedule hair for bridals & the wedding day
- Take bridals
- Get vaccines for honeymoon
- Buy groomsmen ties
- Finalize bridesmaids outfits
- Order pictures for reception
- Buy frames for pictures for reception
- Buy glass centerpiece containers
- Choose 1st dance song
- Compile music playlist for reception
- Send out remaining invites
- Create announcements & mail
- Buy stamps for thank yous
- Finish backyard
- Plant flowers in yard
- Buy health insurance
I swear I'm adding more to this by the hour. I have 2 1/2 weeks to get all this done and get ready for the big day! Can you see why I'm a little stressed at the moment? Emphasis on little? All I want to do is rub a magic lamp and wish that all this would magically be finished so I can enjoy my last few weeks before the wedding. Dang Aladdin. Why did you have to wish the Genie free? I could really use his humor and phenomenal cosmic powers right now.
Invitations went out this weekend, and they were by far the most stressful thing of all. So stressful, in fact, I got hives. Yes, hives. Full-on itchy, annoying, hives! I think I need to take a chill pill. Better yet, I'm going to go get one of those stress things that you squeeze and the eyes pop out. I think I'll name him Frank. Frank will help me calm down, right?

Poor Cryla! I forgot how stressful all of that was until I read your list. Just remember the big picture...the important stuff, like the fact that you'll be Mrs. Neve! Hooray! I won't even mention getting your name changed through social security, and on your drivers license AFTER you're married....Don't worry though. I'm sure everything will fall into place. That reminds me--I want to get you Jasmine Jammies for your wedding night. :)
Ooooh, I got hives too! But they didn't appear until the actual day!Just remember to enjoy it and don't stress too much :)
